The Fort Bliss Sports Division offers a wide variety of instructional classes to help you stay in shape. We want to offer you the as many options as possible. Most classes are taught at Stout Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 2930, 915-568-3264/5162 unless otherwise noted.

Training Holidays, 11 am-6 pm

Boot Camp

Need a kick in the pants to get your work out started? This class is for you! Take the choreography out of group fitness and pair it with the ultimate in total body conditioning.

When: 1 March - 14 April (Registration begins 22 FEB) Every Mon & Wed from 1815-1945

Where: Stout Fitness Center

Cost: $49 Ages 18 years and older.

Class Descriptions

 

Circuit Classes – The ultimate total body workout for individuals who want to take their fitness to the next level.  A great way to get fit and lose body fat in the process.  Challenge yourself!
TRX – Get fit and enhance athletic performance by using only bodyweight as resistance.  The optimal solution for functional fitness!
Kickboxing – Get fit using high energy cardio kickboxing moves — one high-powered calorie burning program!
Spin Basics Designed for those new to spin.  The intro class will teach you the basics you need to know and give you an excellent workout.
Spin – The ultimate calorie burning cardio challenge   adaptable for all fitness levels!  This indoor cycling program utilizes Mad Dogg technique - intense and motivational. Whether it’s Interval, Strength or an Endurance ride, it’s guaranteed to make you sweat!
Latin Aerobics –Add a little spice to your workout!  Have fun and burn calories with this Latino style workout!
Step & Dance – A great combination of the traditional step class with the addition of Latin dance.  Join the fun!
Step & Sculpt –A unique blend of body sculpting moves and energetic step combinations designed to work the body and brain!
Sweat and Sculpt – Firm and sculpt your entire body using weights, stability ball, bands, and tubes. You’ll never have a boring weight training session again!
Pilates – Improve core strength, balance, coordination and flexibility.  For all fitness levels!
Yoga Basics– Build strength and flexibility and reduce stress and pain; learn basic yoga asanas (poses) and principals of breath, alignment, and relaxation.
Hatha Yoga Yoga asanas (poses), breath work, and meditation calm the mind and increase strength, flexibility, and body awareness.
Yoga Flow Active flowing vinyasas (yoga pose sequences), body alignment principles, breathing practices, and meditation build strength and flexibility and reduce stress.
Tai Chi An internal Chinese martial art which was originally used more for self-defense purposes.  In today’s world, the meditative, stress-reducing and health improving aspects are emphasized.
Gravity Classes – Glide your way to a total body workout using the Gravity Training System (GTS)! You’ll burn fat and define muscle by using your body weight against gravity.  A great way to spice up your workout!
Hard Core The ultimate abdominal and back class.  Great for all fitness levels!
BOSU/Sculpt – Great total body workout using BOSU’s, weights and bands to tone, condition and sculpt your body!
Explosive Power - From sprinting to jumping, this class will get your heart pumping.
Core Strength A full hour of total body conditioning.  Core conditioning at its best! 
Ultimate Conditioning – A total body workout that will challenge you like never before!  May involve step, body bars, etc.
Get Ballin’- Join the Stability Ball Crave with Stability Ball Progressions. Develop overall body strength, balance, agility and core strength.
