The Fort Bliss Sports Division offers a wide variety of instructional classes to help you stay in shape. We want to offer you the as many options as possible. Most classes are taught at Stout Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 2930, 915-568-3264/5162 unless otherwise noted.

Class Descriptions
Boot Camp – A program for those individuals who want to take their fitness to the next level and be in the best shape of their lives. A great way to get fit and lose body fat in the process!
Circuit – Circuit training is an efficient and challenging form of conditioning. It works well for developing strength, endurance (both aerobic and anaerobic), flexibility and coordination.
Core Dynamics – Challenge & tone your core & torso. The abs, hips, buttocks and lower back are the powerhouse of the body; get fit and enhance athletic performance.
Gravity – Glide your way to a total body workout using the Gravity Training System (GTS)! You'll burn fat and define muscle by using your body weight against gravity. A great way to spice up your workout!
Interval Step – A unique cross-training method that combines cardio stepping for overall endurance. Body weight resistance added for strong lean muscle mass—one high-powered calorie burning program!
Latino Aerobics – Add a little sauce to your regime! You will love learning how to dance Latino style as it is fun, new, different and also a great way to workout and lose those extra pounds. Latino Aerobics is designed for all fitness levels.
Spin – Are you looking for the ultimate cardio challenge? Adaptable from Beginners to Advanced students, this indoor cycling program utilizes Maddog technique-- motivational to intense musical beats and visualization techniques. Ride your way on an amazing 900 calorie burn that will.
Step & Sculpt – A unique blend of body sculpting moves and energetic step combinations designed to work the body and brain! This class is perfect for any fitness level that wants to build strength and cardiovascular endurance.
Sweat and Sculpt – Do you want to firm and sculpt your entire body? Then this class is for you; every major muscle group is worked using weights, stability ball, bands, and tubes. You'll never have a boring weight training session again!
Tai Chi – a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. To do Tai Chi, you perform a series of postures or movements in a slow, graceful manner. Each posture flows into the next without pausing. Anyone, regardless of age or physical ability, can practice Tai Chi. It emphasizes technique over strength.
Toning Pilates – This workout combines the disciplines of the BOSU Ball and Pilates which result in improved core strength, balance, coordination and flexibility. The added weight and the balance challenge of the BOSU add a whole new dimension to Pilates training.
Yoga– This class includes postures and breath control. Yoga mind and meditation is designed to strengthen the body's ability to maintain health of the joints, muscles and spine, while relaxing the mind. This is a great way to improve posture, balance and coordination.
Ultimate Conditioning – This is a total body workout that will challenge you like never before! You will feel as if you are having a private personal training session with our aerobics instructor as your guide. All levels of fitness can attend this mix of Body Bar, mats, BOSU and dumbbell training format.
