The Fort Bliss Sports Division offers a wide variety of instructional classes to help you stay in shape. We want to offer you the as many options as possible. Most classes are taught at Stout Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 2930, 915-568-3264/5162 unless otherwise noted.

Free Tai Chi and Yoga
Join in some stress reduction, management and relaxation classes while gaining balance, agility and more thru Army Community Services' FREE Yoga classes. The class will be offered every Tuesday from 12-1 p.m. and child care will be paid for all who are registered with the Child Development Center. Tai Chi is offered every Friday at Stout Gym starting at 11:30. For more information call ACS at 568-1132 or Stout Gym at 568-3826/6458. Please dress in comfortable, loose clothing to allow for easier movement; water bottle recommended.
Free Water Aerobics Classes
Do you need to spice up your work-out routine? The Replica Aquatic Center is offering FREE Water Aerobics classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 to 9 a.m. For more information call 568-7431.
Class Descriptions
Step Challenge – the ultimate mix of powerful and energetic step combinations, designed to challenge your body and brain. Suitable for almost any age and fitness level, as all moves can be modified. The class finishes with an intense abdominal session to work your core.
Cardio Kickboxing – This is an aerobics workout that incorporates movements derived from boxing, Hi/Lo aerobics and martial arts. Participants enjoy an intense, no-contact workout that combines cardiovascular strength and conditioning. This is an ideal format for achieving an intense fat burning workout. No prior experience is needed.
Strength & Conditioning – This is a total body workout that will challenge you like never before! You will feel as if you are having a private personal training session with our aerobics instructor as your guide. All levels of fitness can attend this mix of Body bar, mats, Bosu and dumbbell training format.
Step and Sculpt – a unique blend of body sculpting moves and energetic step combinations designed to work the body and brain! This class is perfect for any fitness level that wants to build strength and cardiovascular endurance.
Pilates – If you want to build lean muscle and improve flexibility, then this class is for you! Pilates offers fun new ways to get in shape without fighting the weight room crowd. If you’re looking to change up your weight-lifting routine, or add some cross-training to your cardio, then you’ve found the perfect class. Try it and see results!!
Weight Management and Workout – What you need is this class! We start with 15 minutes of group nutrition, followed by 45 minutes of calorie burning cardio-blast of fun, 30 minutes of core conditioning and a body changing stretch and cool down.
Extreme Cardio – Bored with your work-out? Or just need to kick it up? Then try extreme cardio! In this class ANYTHING goes. You’ll be challenged with circuits, weights, cardio sessions, or military style calisthenics. There’s always something new to be found with hardcore instructor motivation along the way. So get up and MOVE!
Ultimate Sweat and Sculpt – Do you want to firm and sculpt your entire body? Then this class is for you; every major muscle group is worked using weights, stability ball, bands, and tubes. You’ll never have a boring weight training session again!
Yoga/Mind Relaxation – This class includes postures and breath control. Yoga mind and meditation is designed to strengthen the body’s ability to maintain health of the joints, muscles and spine, while relaxing the mind. This is a great way to improve posture, balance and coordination.
Spin – Are you looking for the ultimate cardio challenge? Adaptable from Beginners to Advanced students, this indoor cycling program utilizes Johnny G Spinning bikes, motivational to intense musical beats and visualization techniques. Ride your way on an amazing 900 calorie burn that will energize and exhilarate you! Try it. You’ll be hooked.
Lower Body Solution – This class focuses on those “problem areas” we all want to work on! So if you’re ready to work your thighs, butt, and gut then come and join us while we use a combination of cardio lower body exercises to get fit and firm!!
GRAVITYgroup – Glide your way to a total body workout using the Gravity Training System(GTS)! You’ll burn fat and define muscle by using your body weight against gravity. A great way to spice up your workout!
