  • The person who looses the most weight per percent of the starting weight will be Fort Bliss’s Biggest Looser.
  • In order to participate the contestants have to complete a health history form and turn in a physicians clearance form.
  • Every contestant will pay $300 for the Challenge
  • The participation is limited to 25 people.
  • The Fitness Assessments will take place during the first session and the last session.
    • The initial weight will be use to calculate the overall percentage of weight lost.
  • The contestants will work out in a group setting with the trainers: Annika Schmidt and Mike Lind three times a week.
  • The workouts will consist of cardio and weight training sessions, designed by the trainers under the guidance of Dr. Doug Briggs.
  • The contestants have to record their daily intakes in a food diary 7 days a week.
  • An exercise diary will show that they have exercised at least 5 days a week for a minimum of 30 minutes at moderate intensity.
  • Before and After pictures will be taken and posted in the gym and on-line on MWR's website as well as in the Monitor with a small biography about the person.
