In addition to volleyball, basketball and softball fields, the park has two tennis courts for enthusiasts of all ages. Fitness buffs can take advantage of their 1.2 mile track with exercise stations, while the kids tackle the playground. For military units, active duty service members and families, pavilions equipped with barbecue pits can be reserved for special occasions. With a premier water fun park on the grounds, you and your family have all you need to enjoy the summer. Basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, softball fields, running track, barbecue pits, picnic areas, pavilions with grills, electricity and lights, playground and two multi-purpose fields.

Sport Climbing to Rough and Ready Hills - September 25
Beginner climbers as well as experienced climbers are welcome on this trip. We will leave in the morning and return late afternoon or early evening; our definite itinerary will be determined at the MANDATORY pre-trip meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 15 at Soto Gym. Please RSVP to the meeting. Cost is $20 per person.

Wounded Warrior Program Discounts
MWR would like to remind individuals with a "Wounded Warrior Card" that they are entitled to the following discounts:
- Free games of bowling and free shoe rental at Fort Bliss Bowling Center.

- Free usage of MWR Park facilities.

A 100- by 60-yard playing field provides a great source of competitive game play and entertainment for paintball enthusiasts. Paintball $20 all day play includes field fee, gun, mask, air tank, safety plug, and 200 paintballs. Players with their own equipment pay a $10 field fee, plus $3 per air fill. Paintballs are available for purchase. Players must be military or DoD civilian employees with a valid ID card. Each player is permitted one guest. Player ages 10 to 12 years must be accompanied by a parent; players 13 to 17 years must have parent sign a Hold Harmless agreement. The park may be reserved by groups/units with 7 - 14 days notice. Special paintball Park openings for groups and units can be coordinated at the Biggs Office.
Units are reminded that they may reserve the Paintball Park during other than the regular operating hours for organizations days, training or sergeant's time. The cost is $50 an hour for a minimum of two hours. The fee includes field fee, 20 guns, masks, and air. Paintballs are also available at $50 per case of 2,000 paintballs.
Tango Tower
The Tango Tower is a 50 foot high, six sided structure with over 20 different high elements giving participants a multitude of choices and allows for multi-day programming opportunities. Twelve climbers can climb at a time and up to 36 participants can participate at one time.

For reservations it is recommended that groups larger than 8 please contact the front office at Biggs Park for details prior to their event.
Open to all military, family members, and civilians (11 years and older). Children 11-14 years of age need to be accompanied by an adult. Children 15-17 need to have a parent sign a waiver form. Call 474-2908 for info.
