Summer Camp, June thru mid-August – eligibility will be based on the child’s grade classification. Kinder children must meet the age requirement enforced by the state of Texas, 5 years of age by 1 Sep or positive enrollment in a private school.
Where the multiple child discount fee (15%) is applicable it is applied to the least expensive program. However, if you have a child in an FCC home as well as a center based program, be sure to let the administrative assistant taking your payment know so that the discount can be applied to your center based child care fee. CYMS does not automatically apply this discount when one child is in an FCC home.
Sports Fees – Fees are due upon enrollment. Ask about coaches discounts.

SKIESUnlimited: Class fees range from $20.00 to $280.00, holidays and extra weeks within the month have been calculated into fees. Fees are due upon enrollment, no exceptions. As per Army Guidance there are no parent participation or multi-child discounts available for instructional classes.
Part Time care: When enrolled in this program you will receive care in the AM until 1200 or in the PM until 1800 hours a day, Monday – Friday only for the calendar month. Any hours used after 1200 if you have morning hours or before 1200 if you have afternoon hours will be charged at the current hourly care rate and must be paid on the day that care is received. There is no refund for hours not used each day.
Hourly Care: The hourly child care rate is $4.00 per hour. THERE WILL BE AN AUTOMATIC NO SHOW FEE OF $4.00 FOR ANY UNCANCELLED RESERVATION. For school age youth 6 years and older: School age patrons can receive up to 4 hours of free occasional drop-in care during weekday duty hours (0530-1800) per month. The intention of this option is to ensure that soldiers who don’t need child care on a regular basis have an option, i.e., parent/teacher conferences, formation/runs, or doctor appointments. Our regular SAS patrons receive an equivalent proportional off-setting discount in their monthly fees. Reservations for hourly care are required to guarantee a space. All: reservations can be made up to four weeks in advance. Hourly care fees are due and payable at the time of service.
Patrons must complete registration paperwork annually. This annual registration applies to all CYSS programs and must be kept up to date in order for a child/youth to attend any programs offered by CYSS.
Payment of monthly fees: Payments for services are due in advance of the service to be provided. Payments will be late after 1800 on the 5th business day after and including the 1st and 15th of each month. A late fee of $5 will be automatically assessed after the 5th day. Failure to pay your household balance six days after a late fee has been assessed will automatically place the household in delinquent status and your children will be suspended from services until the household balance is satisfied. Parents enrolling during the month will have their fees prorated for that month. Families who PCS before the end of the month can have their fees for that month prorated with a two week notification of their last day. Failure to give a two week notice will result in customary charges for that time period. All federal holidays, spring and winter breaks have been calculated into the structure of the fees, therefore no credit will be given. Fees paid guarantee your child’s space in the CYSS program as long as the fees are paid in advance.
Financial Hardships: Financial hardships can be considered on a case by case basis before your household becomes delinquent. CYSS can not arbitrarily grant an exception if avenues of economic relief are not first pursued through ACS Financial Readiness Services, Child Care Services, and/or your Commander. Emergencies require your Commander's verification. POC for hardship requests is the Outreach Services Director.
Late Pick Up Fee: Late Pick Up fee is $1.00 per minute or a maximum of $15.00 per family, per site after 1800 hours Monday – Friday. After 2400 on Saturdays your fee will be $1.00 per minute, no maximum amount. All late fees must be paid when you pick up your child/ children. In the event your child is left 15 minutes past closing, and the emergency designee cannot be reached, the Ft. Bliss Military Police will be called to pick up your child. Please call the center if any emergency arises and you will be late. CYSS personnel will assist you in finding alternative child care.
Parent Participation Discount: Parents may receive a 10% discount on their monthly bill for volunteering. Credits may be earned for participating in a variety of activities in your child’s classroom, attending monthly parent participation opportunities to include the Parent Advisory Council. All parent participation activities must be approved by the CYSS Director. Credits equate to are not transferable between families.
Vacation Credit: Two weeks of credit will be granted for vacations per registration year, SAS program credit will only given during the school year. They must be used in one week blocks but could be used together. Vacation credits not used during the registration year are forfeited.
Classroom Animals: Several of the classrooms in our programs have animal friends for the children’s enjoyment and expanded learning experiences. Animals may include: guinea pigs, hamsters, birds or fish. If your child is allergic to any of these animals, please inform us immediately so that your child will not be placed in those rooms.
Hours of Operation: 0530-1800 (Mon-Fri) and 1300-2400 on Saturday at the Logan CDC, Bldg 3500 and 1500-2200 at the Logan SAS, Bldg 3505. Care on the weekend is not included in any of the fees listed on the first page. All weekend care is hourly care and must be paid when you pick up your child.
