FRG Leader Certification Course Training The Family Readiness Group (FRG) Course is provided by the Army Community Service, Mobilization and Deployment Program. The training is available for all FRG members and is offered once a month. the following classes are required to receive a FRG Leader Certificate:

Homecoming/Reunion Training The Homecoming/Reunion classes are designed to help soldiers and their family transition from deployment to reunion by maximizing the positive aspects of reunion. Preparation is the key to a smooth transition into reintegration of soldier and family. OBJECTIVESParticipants are required to call and sign up for the class; classes fill up at 100. Unit FRG registrations are welcome. Arrangements can be made for child care through CYS; the family member must make arrangements for the day/time they will be attending the class. All classes are held at the Family Resilience Center, Bldg. 250 Club Road. For more information, call 569-5500. |

ACS Resilience Training
Are you a tennis ball or an egg? Do you bounce back or do you crack? Learn to bounce back when the stressors of everyday life start getting you down by attending the ACS Resilience Training. The training will enhance your effectiveness and well-being by teaching you the skills to build mental toughness, learn what your character strengths are, build strong relationships, and lastly how to hunt the good stuff, focusing on the positive rather than the negative.

Bellydance classes at ACS
The Relocation Assistance Program at Army Community Service offers free bellydance classes! Classes will meet from 4-5 p.m. February 2, February 9, February 16, March 1, March 8, March 15, March 22 and March 29 at ACS, Bldg. 2494 Ricker Road.

Dinner on a Dime
Let the Financial Readiness Program at Army Community Service teach you how to prepare great food on a shoestring budget. Dinner on a Dime focuses on making quick, healthy, affordable meals. Classes take place at the Milam Youth Activity Center, 10960 Haan Road on East Fort Bliss. The class is free, but pre-registration is required. Civilian Fitness Program applications due March 9
The Civilian Fitness Program is an opportunity for Army civilians to develop and continue healthy lifestyle changes. The six-month, structured program is open only to civilian employees of Fort Bliss.
The six-month program begins Monday, March 26 and involves pre- and post-program fitness assessments and one-hour workouts three times a week. Guidance will be provided on exercise program design, nutrition, and aerobics, but the actual program will be determined by the participants. Group fitness classes offered include TRX, gravity, yoga, pilates, spin and more, all on a rotating schedule.

Active Military Families Resilience Training
Learn to bounce back from whatever life throws your way with the Active Military Families Resilience Training offered by Army Community Service. The first training is scheduled from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 10.
Active Military Families Resilience Training is offered to families with children ages 3-12 and will take place at the Family Resilience Center, Bldg. 250 Club Road on main post. Registration is now open at www.blissmwr.com/resilience and is limited to the first 10 families to enroll.

Multicultural Support Group potlucks
The Relocation Assistance Program at Army Community Service sponsors a Multicultural Support Group potluck each month. Upcoming potlucks include January 19, February 16, March 16 and April 19. The group meets from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each day.
Bring a dish from your country for all to share! The Multicultural Support Group is a great was to meet new friends and try fabulous food.

ACS Annex open on East Fort Bliss
Army Community Service now has two locations to better serve you: the main post location and a new annex on East Fort Bliss!
If you're out east, save time and gas by visiting the East Bliss annex at Bldg. A-479 Kasserine Rd., located between Saber and Thunderhorse roads. All ACS services are available at this location. Take advantage of full-service programs from Information and Referral, Financial Readiness, Mobilization and Deployment, Relocation Assistance, Exceptional Family Member Program and the lending closet. Limited services are offered by the Employment Readiness Program, Army Family Action Plan, Family Advocacy Program, Army Volunteer Corps, Army Family Team Building and Army Emergency Relief (located in A-478). If utilizing any of these services, call the main post ACS, Bldg. 2494 Ricker Road, determine which office can best serve you.
