			<title>Pre-Qualifier 10 Mile Run</title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>MWR Sports will present the Pre-Qualifier 10 Miler Run on <strong>May 9</strong>. Registration will begin at 5 a.m. at Biggs Gym and the race will start at 6 a.m. This event is open to all participants and various age groups will be awarded medals for both male and female. This race is to identify possible runners and to coordinate training for the team who will represent Ft. Bliss at the Army 10 Miler on August 15 in Washington D.C. 			<title>Speed Dating is Back!</title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Due to popular demand, Speed Dating is back! The event will be held at the Centennial on <strong>May 9, June 13, July 11 and August 8</strong> starting at 7 p.m. There is a $5 entry fee and registration is from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. the day of the event. Arrive early as space is limited to the first 25 females/males. Participants will rotate tables every 3 min. and be given a card to keep track of their dates' information. The exchange of personal information will be completely voluntary. All off post guests should enter, with current car insurance and registration, through Biggs Gate to obtain a gate pass. Those who participate in Speed Dating will have their cover charge waived for Junior Enlisted Night. For more information, call 568-6741.</p>]]></description>

			<title>Framing Classes</title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Learn from certified instructors how you can professionally frame you pictures, diplomas, or certificates. Framing Bliss offers Framing Classes every other Saturday from 8:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m. However, special arrangements can be made for individual groups with four or more people. Cost is $30 per person and includes a picture, materials, and instructions. If you sign up as a couple or bring a friend, cost will be $25 per person.<strong><br>

<p>Interested patrons must sign-up two days prior class. In addition, after the instructional class patrons may use the facility to frame their own pictures. All tools and equipment are provided for a cost of $2.50 per hour plus additional cost for any materials used. Do-it-yourself hours are Thursdays from 2 to 6 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Certified framers are available during these times if help is needed. 			<title>Mother's Day Brunch</title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Treat you Mom to a special culinary experience on Sunday, <strong>May 11,</strong> from 10am-1pm. Both the Officers' Club and Centennial will feature a delightful Sunday Bruch to include breakfast items such as crpes and ready-to order omelets. A carving station, an array of side dishes, and luscious desserts will make this a perfect feast.</p>
<p>The cost at the O'Club is $14.95 for members, $16.95 for nonmembers, half price for children 7-11, and free for children 6 years and under. Reservations are required. Please call 568-7013 for more info and reservations.</p>

			<title>Freedom Camp 2008</title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Experience &quot;a day in the life&quot; of a Soldier at Freedom Camp 2008! This wonderful camp is planned for children ages 7 to 18, of Soldiers who are currently deployed, have returned from deployment within the last seven months, or will deploy within the next seven months.</p>
<p>For teens, ages 13-18, this is a three day overnight camp beginning at 8am, Thursday, June 19, and ending at 5pm, Saturday, June 21. Pre-teens, ages 7-12, will experience day camp activities on Friday, June 20, and Saturday, June 21 from 8am-5pm each day. <strong>Deadline to register is Friday, June 6.</strong></p>

			<title>New Hours for Super Awesome Saturdays at Logan SAS</title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>&quot;Super Awesome Saturday's&quot; at Logan SAS has changed their hours of operation as of <strong>May 3</strong>. New hours will be from 3 to 10 p.m. During our summer full-day camp months of June, July &amp; August, we will limit our Saturday openings to pay-day weekends:</p>

    <li>2 August&nbsp;</li>
    <li>16 August</li>
</ul>
<p>This FREE Saturday program includes a nutritious dinner and evening snack; is open to CYS registered school-age children with an active SAS pass and requires reservations to hold down costs associated with staffing. Community Service and long-term projects will be the focus in programming, however, many other choices and more field trips will be offered to engage and explore children's interests during the new opening hours.</p>

Fort Bliss Freedom Camp is looking for youth ages 13 and older and adults that would like to volunteer their time this summer helping out at a fun and exciting camp! Freedom Camp will be held <strong>June 19-21</strong> at Biggs Army Airfield. Camp Counselors must attend a mandatory training held <strong>June 17</strong> from 5-7 p.m. at the Centennial Club, Biggs Army Airfield. Fort Bliss Army Volunteer Corps and YESS will be hosting a leadership training for youth from grades 9-12 on <strong>June 12-13</strong> at&nbsp;Balfour Beatty's&nbsp;Military Housing, 1991 Marshall Road (formerly known as GMH). The leadership training will be based on the Points of Lights Youth Leadership Institute, a nationwide curriculum which focuses on teambuilding, diversity, communication, leadership development, and community service.
