Want to set up a Private Organization on post?
Then, you must register to operate on Fort Bliss through the Private Organization Office, located in Bldg. 11 on Pershing Rd., 2nd floor, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (except for training holidays and weekends).
Please bring your organization's:
- Constitution, by-laws, and articles of agreement,
- Statement of the organization's nature, objectives, and activities,
- Statement of defining membership eligibility
- List of current board members,
- Minutes from last meeting,
- Financial Statements,
- Most recent audit information,
- Tax status, and
- A memo detailing management responsibilities and written documentation that all members understand the liabilities, signed and dated.
Your packet must be approved before receiving your operating permit. The entire application process takes approximately 6-8 weeks, so plan accordingly. Permits are valid for 2 years. More info about being TAX EXEMPT.
