Fort Bliss Hearts Apart
Is your spouse deployed or TDY for longer than 30 days? Being separated from your spouse is not easy. Join the Fort Bliss Hearts Apart Empowerment Group as a way to connect with other families and conquer deployment! From family night outs to our own version of the popular TV show "The View", we provide resources to help cope with the separation and maintain your long distance relationship and it’s totally FREE.
The lending closet is stocked with basic household items to use before your household goods arrive or after you have packed out for your new assignment. Items may be borrowed for 30 days. Please provide your ID card and a copy of your PCS orders. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Fort Bliss Bus Tour
Fort Bliss is a massive installation with a lot of ground to cover from East to West Bliss. Come learn more about East and West Bliss with our monthly bus tour.
Welcome Packets & Relocation Counseling
Are you PCSing to a new installation and want to learn more about your gaining installation? We can provide you with automated welcome packets on any military installation worldwide! If desired, we will also be more than happy to provide you with a one on one relocation counseling!
English as a Second Language / Spanish Classes
ACS offers English as a Second Language and Spanish classes on a rotating basis. Anyone interested in ESL/Spanish classes should call 915-569-4227 #6. These classes are free and limited to a maximum of 20 students.
El Paso Bus Tour
East Side, West Side, Northeast, and downtown….there’s so much to explore in El Paso. Join us the last Saturday of every month from 10am-3pm for this FREE tour of the city.

Traveling abroad? Need a passport? The Relocation Assistance Program is pleased to host quarterly passport processing dates at Army Community Service courtesy of our local passport office. Please check http://travel.state.gov/passport/ for information on fees and forms.
Bienvenidos a Bliss Relocation Fair
Every August, the Relocation Assistance Program hosts an installation wide relocation fair with representation from agencies on and off post. With over 150 agencies represented, this is a great time to quickly become familiar with the resources best suited to you and your family.
Total Army Sponsorship Program
The Army Community Service Relocation Assistance Program offers trainings to units on how to effectively run your sponsorship program. Class is held monthly at Army Community Service or your unit can schedule a unit training.
Fort Bliss Orientation and Welcome
The Fort Bliss Orientation and Welcome is an interactive orientation and welcome fair hosted from 9am-3pm each Thursday at the Old Ironsides Museum, Bldg. 1735 Marshall Road. All are welcome to attend.
People Encouraging People (P.E.P.)
Join us for this AMAZING newcomer's orientation for adult family members. During a fun filled three day orientation, you'll learn about the services available to you at ACS and other community agencies and get a tour of Fort Bliss and the surrounding areas. It's a great way to learn your way around, meet others new to the installation, and become one HOTTTTT PEPper!
The El Paso Field Office of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) maintains an information office at our office to assist you with your immigration questions. The USCIS officer will answer questions, and provide and review application packets. This service is provided at no cost to service members from any branch of service, retirees, DoD civilians and their immediate relatives. This office is open every Wednesday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Become an ACS instructor! Army Community Service offers instructor training courses, briefer training courses and facilitator training courses throughout the year.
These courses are mandatory for all ACS staff and any volunteers who will be teaching or briefing. For example, every Army Family Team Building volunteer is mandated to take instructor training and briefer training before they can teach AFTB classes.
Training is open to all ACS employees and volunteers, and to anyone who would like to gain skills in teaching and briefing.
Instructor training courses are offered as a two-day class from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Upcoming courses include April 16-17 and June30-July1.
Briefer training courses are offered as a one-day class from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Upcoming courses include May 7 and August 6.
Facilitator training courses are offered as a two-day session, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. each day. The next facilitator training course is set for October 7-8.
