NEW CYSS Fees

On October 1, 2010 the Army will launch the Fee Policy for School Year 2010/2011 as recently released by the Department of Defense Child Care Fee Policy. There are several changes that may affect you.

A copy of the new fee categories and fees are available from your child’s program, Parent Central, as well as on our website: http://blissmwr.com/cds/servicefees.aspx

Fee categories have changed and been expanded from 6 categories to 9. If you are currently a Category VI patron please bring your total family income information to Parent Central, B 1743, as soon as possible, so your category can be re-verified. Without total family income documentation patrons will be charged Category IX.

Our child care programs will continue to help reduce the conflict between your parental responsibilities and the Army mission, help with stress of parental separations and set the stage for your child’s future academic success. We appreciate your patronage and the sacrifices that you make as an Army Family in defense of our nation!

Fort Bliss needs your support and feedback

The window for the 2010 Customer Assessment survey officially opens Monday August 30 and will remain open until September 26. During this time, everyone who lives, works or does business on Fort Bliss is asked to take the survey and provide ratings for all of the Garrison’s services.

Participants may access the survey by going to www.mymilitaryvoice.org. The survey takes 15 minutes to complete. If unfinished, participants can save the survey to complete it at a later time but before September 26.

Customers will first answer a number of basic, demographic questions which will steer them to a set of questions concerning services relevant to them. Each question has two parts – the first question asks for a rating from one to five (where one indicates very poor and five indicates excellent) on the importance of a service. The second question asks for a performance rating of that service using the same scale. Customer will be required to provide comments for those services that have been given a ratings of one (very poor) or two (poor).

This survey empowers customers – installation leaders, Soldiers, Family Members, Department of the Army civilians, and retirees– to have a real voice in evaluating all garrison services. The voice of the military customer lets the garrison leadership know how they are doing. In turn, as a customer you are a valued team member and your feedback is important!
