"Fort Bliss' Got Talent"
This will be a four week, single-elimination contest featuring the most talented performers that Fort Bliss has to offer. Talents will be showcased on stage at the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center in front of a live audience and judged by a panel of three local television and radio celebrities and business owners. Contestants will compete for cash prizes and a grand prize to be decided at later date. This competition is open to Soldiers, Retirees their Family members 16 and older and DoD / DA civilians. Starting at $200 - Dates: February 02, 09,16, & 23

Mega Bingo 2
On February 25th the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center will, once again, hold the wildly popular Mega Bingo. Mega Bingo was held for the first time in August 2011 and drew a crowd of 400 players, all eager to win the grand prize which was a 2011 Jeep Compass. Mega Bingo 2 is expected to draw an even larger crowd, all ready to win a 2011 Ford F-150 XLT Sport. With over $50,000 in cash and prizes, sponsors should expect a premium opportunity to interact with an
excited and enthusiastic crowd. This event is open to military ID card holders and their guests.

Army Family Team Building (AFTB) Basket Bingo
Army Community Service will host the popular Basket Bingo twice in 2012. Participants come to win Longaberger baskets filled with different goodies. This is a fun way for our sponsors to reach out to our Soldiers’ spouses. All proceeds generated by these games go toward childcare fees for students and volunteers of AFTB programs. This event is one that would not be possible without the support of our sponsors. We hope you will want to join in on this fun event.

Fort Bliss Run Series
Become an annual sponsor for the Fort Bliss Intramural Run Series. Our intramural sports program is gearing up for a busy year in the fitness and running department. There will be eight runs as part of the series throughout 2012. We are looking for sponsors to join us as we help inspire a healthy lifestyle for Soldiers, Families and civilians. These eight races are open to Fort Bliss and the El Paso Community. Your sponsorship will include benefits such as logo inclusion on all race apparel and marketing before and during each event. Race attendance ranges from 100-300+ runners.

Installation Volunteer Recognition Week
This event, hosted by the Commanding General, honors and thanks those who contribute their time and talents in an effort to make our military community a better place. It is held in conjunction with National Volunteer Week, which has been celebrated annually since the 1970s.

Easter Eggstravaganza
This fun-filled family event is scheduled for April 07, 2012. Activities include live entertainment, an Easter train, face painting, themed games, and a bounce house at the Biggs Park complex. Popcorn, snow cones, balloons, and information booths with giveaways are a part of the day which can only be made possible with the help of sponsors. This event is a wonderful opportunity for sponsors who are looking to reach out to our Soldiers and their Families. This event will be open to all of El Paso in addition to our Fort Bliss community. Motorcycle Safety Rally
Team Bliss, Holloman Air Force Base and White Sands Missile Range will be hosting the annual
Motorcycle Safety Rally. This event will be held at the Freedom Crossing parking lot. All Active Duty Soldiers, Reservists, Retirees, Family Members, Department of Defense and Contract Civilians are invited to attend. Motorcyclists will be given a safety briefing and then take a group ride. Once they return there will be a bike contest (best in show, most original), live entertainment and plenty of fun. Pop Goes the Fort
In 2011, Fort Bliss MWR decided it was time to celebrate Independence Day in style by teaming up with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra for a concert and fireworks extravaganza. The El Paso community came out in droves to join the Soldiers and Families of Fort Bliss in a patriotic 4th of July celebration at Biggs Park. Due to the success of Pop Goes the Fort 2011, the garrison commander declared it to be an annual event in the future. Sponsorship of this event is a great opportunity to get a huge crowd that is a mixture of both military and civilians.

Rock the Fort
Fort Bliss DFMWR will be hosting a live concert this summer open to Fort Bliss and the community of El Paso. This event is held at Biggs Park in appreciation to all Military service members and their Families for their dedication and commitment to the United States. Activities include food and beverage
vendors, jumping balloons, children’s games, a beer garden and an entire day of family fun. The event ends with a spectacular fireworks display. This is one of our largest events and we encourage all of our sponsors to join us for this spectacular event! Starting at $3000 - Date: July 21

Operation Rising Star
Operation Rising Star is an individual singing competition. Similar to American Idol and other televised competitions, participants are judged by a panel of judges and by an audience of their peers. Singers compete each week for the chance to win the local first place prize - $500. The winner of the local Fort Bliss Operation Rising Star competition moves on to the Army-wide competition for the chance to win the Ultimate Recording Music Experience – Record, Mix and Master a demo with studio
professionals. The prize includes a three day trip to Los Angeles, CA for the winner and a guest..

Back 2 School Back Pack Program
Free back to school backpacks filled with basic school supplies will be given to nominated children between 6 and 12 years of age at the Army Community Service (ACS) ballroom. This program is looking for funds to help pack the backpacks or a donation of school supplies is gladly accepted. Starting at $200 - Date: August

Bienvenidos a Bliss Relocation Fair
Bienvenidos a Bliss is a great way to welcome newcomers to Fort Bliss at the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center. Hosted by Army Community Service, this event showcases the resources from the ACS, DFMWR and various support agencies within the Fort Bliss community. Soldiers and their Families have the opportunity to meet with both on-post agencies and off-post businesses. All sponsors are strongly encouraged to attend this event. It is a great way to reach out to Soldiers and their Families. Starting at $500 - Date: August

Soldier Show
This seven-month worldwide tour arrives at Fort Bliss for performances scheduled in August. The
Soldier Show is a musical production reflecting the reasons American Soldiers serve as they do and how they display esprit de corps the Army Strong way. The Soldier Show showcases talented
Soldiers from across the nation performing some of the year’s biggest radio hits. Fort Bliss offers this show free of charge to Fort Bliss Soldiers, their Families and the surrounding El Paso community at a venue located off post. Last year’s show was held at the Abraham Chavez Theatre in downtown
El Paso, Texas. Starting at $200 - Date: August 17 & 18

German American Night Run
The 19th Annual Fort Bliss German-American Oktoberfest Night Run takes place in September at Freedom Crosssing. This run has established itself as one of the most recognized running events in El Paso. Over 1000 people participated in the run in 2011, amongst them 300 to 400 walkers and 15 to 20 military teams. The event is open to all community members, not just Military personnel. Pre-race activities begin at 4 p.m. and include Oktoberfest music and a variety of entertainment and the sale of German bratwurst, pastries and other refreshments. This is an event no one wants to miss! Starting at $800 - Date: TBD

BOSS Bash
The Fort Bliss Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) program hosts the BOSS Bash. This
event recognizes single and unaccompanied Soldiers for their dedication and contribution to the
Army mission. The day is free of charge and includes various sporting events, meals and entertainment.
Singles Soldiers make up 35% of the Army and the BOSS program supports the overall quality of single Soldiers’ lives. This is a great way for sponsors to get in touch and reach out to our single
Soldiers on Fort Bliss. Starting at $1500 - Date: September

Monster Bash
In October, the DFMWR teams get together and put costumes on to have a fun-filled event that provides live music entertainment, a projector screening Halloween-themed movies, three scary haunted houses, face painting, dancing and ghost storytelling. Starting at $1000 - Date: October 26

Thanksgiving Turkey Vouchers
The need is great to help our young Soldiers’ Families during the holiday season and turkey vouchers help offset the expenses these families face during the holiday season. Turkey voucher donations are needed by the end of October for distribution in November. Your generosity is greatly appreciated during this holiday season. Date: October

Holiday Festival
Join Family and MWR and the entire Team Bliss family for a Holiday Festival. The festive atmosphere will include photos with Santa, arts and crafts, games, caroling, holiday movies on the "Big Screen" and refrements. This event allows all of our sponsors to join in the holiday spirit and meet our Soldiers and their Families. The event is open to Fort Bliss and the community of El Paso.
