The MBTI is nonjudgmental and allows people to gain an understanding of their preferences, particularly with respect to energy source, information gathering, and decision-making and lifestyle/work patterns.

- Greater understanding of others
- Improved communications skills
- Ability to understand and reduce conflict
- Improved time management
- Knowing your contribution to a team
- Identifying tasks and jobs/volunteer opportunities that give you satisfaction
